Alhamdulillah, there is a blessed opportunity to take part in establishing a new Masjid in Machida, Tokyo — a place of worship, learning, and community. Everyone is encouraged to contribute, whether through donations, spreading the word, or offering any form of support. Even the smallest act done sincerely for the sake of Allah carries immense reward. Our Vision and Development Plan

The Tokyo Islamic Culture and Education Center is working to establish a full-fledged Islamic complex in Machida City that will serve as a center for worship, education, and community life. Our goals include:

  • Prayer Hall: Space for 400–500 worshippers for all five daily prayers and Jumu’ah.
  • Kids Islamic International School: Providing both quality education and strong Islamic values.
  • Community Center: A well-equipped facility for programs, events, and social gatherings.
  • Halal Shop: Offering halal products and daily necessities for the community.
  • Library & Research Center: A resource hub for Islamic studies and interfaith understanding.
  • Life Event Services: Certified facilities for marriage, conversion, and funeral preparations (including body washing before burial).
  • Mission: To create a welcoming, spiritually enriching environment that strengthens unity and learning within the community.

Financial and Construction Plan

  • Total Project Cost: Approx. ¥200 million (2億円)
  • Phase 1: Land Acquisition
    • Target: ¥80 million (8,000万円)
    • Deadline: December, 2026
    • Current Funds Raised: ¥5 million (500万円)
  • Phase 2: Construction of Prayer Hall, Education and Cultural facilities, Library, Community Center, Halal Shop, Parking, and Administrative Area
    • Target: ¥120 million (1億2,000万円)
    • Deadline: December, 2028
